Rong Chen:

PhD, Professor, Doctoral tutor.

Dr. Chen received his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and did his postdoctoral research in the same place. He was appointed visiting assistant professor work for Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2008-2009. He joined in the College of Power Engineering, Chongqing University through the Recruitment Program of Global Experts in 2010. Dr. Chen mainly engaged in optical micro fluidics, new energy conversion technology and the key thermal physics problem in micro-scale transmission and environment management technology. He was supported by the National Natural Science Funds for Outstanding Young Scholar, the Natural Science Funds for Distinguished Young Scholar of Chongqing and the Education Ministry’s New Century Excellent Talents Supporting Plan in 2012. He participated in many projects include the National Natural Science Funds for Outstanding Young Scholar program, Applied Basic Research project of Chongqing and Key project of National Natural Science Foundation of China as the project leader and the main research staff. Up to now more than 60 academic papers have been published in some important foreign academic journals. Dr. Chen wrote a chapter in the world famous press Elsevier published”Encyclopedia of Electrochemical Power Sources” and the Science press published”10000 scientific problems ▪ Physical volume”. And he won the second prize of National Nature Science Award(NO. 3).
