我研究所丁玉栋副教授，付乾研究员于2015年08月22日至2015年08月28日参加了在马来西亚古晋举办的第18届节能减排过程强化模拟及优化会议。此次会议由诺丁汉大学马来西亚分校（University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus）承办。PRES系列会议，每年举行一次。PRES系列会议主要关注节能减排、系统集成优化等方面的最新进展和应用，同 时也涉及过程模拟和工业应用经验方面的专题，是节能减排领域极有影响的国际会议之一，每届与会的来自世界各地的数百学者多为本领域的学术带头人或有影响的专家教授。

会议期间，丁玉栋副教授在Industrial and Experimental Studies专题会场宣读了一篇会议论文（Impact of microalgae on CO2 Bubble Growth and Detachment in Bubble Column bioreactor），并被Chemical Engineering Transactions期刊收录，付乾研究员担任了Energy Saving Technology会场的session chair，并与国际同行进行了广泛深入地交流和研讨。

本次会议还有近500名节能减排领域的专家学者参加了17个主题的讨论与报告会，具体内容包括：Process integration for sustainable development; Energy saving technology; CO2 minimisation and mitigation; Heat exchangers as equipment and integrated items; Integration of renewables, biomass and energy conversion technologies; Integrated and multifunctional operations; Operational research, supply chain and technology management; Clean technologies - Low emissions technologies; Sustainable processing and production; Waste minimisation, processing and management; Thermal treatment of waste including waste to energy; Dynamic, flexible and sustainable plant operation; Industrial & experimental studies; Industrial application & optimal design; CFD and numerical heat transfer; Sustainable biofuel production; Sustainable Green Palm Oil Transformation等; 

参加本次会议进一步加强了我研究所与国外同行的交流，进一步促进我研究所了解国内外该领域最新的研究进展，开阔了视野、拓展了研究思路，为今后的国际科技合作奠定基础。同时也扩大了学校的国际学术影响力。
